Darcy A. White, an associate to the firm in its Wilmington office, focuses her practice on intellectual property and corporate bankruptcy matters.

Ms. White has experience in both patent and trademark prosecution. Prior to joining Elliott Greenleaf, she was a patent administrator for a large Delaware intellectual property firm where she managed the firm’s patent and trademark docket. She also worked for a leading pharmaceutical company where she maintained the trademark docket for its United States businesses and an international trademark docket for a newly acquired business.

Experienced in all phases of patent and trademark prosecution she has overseen hundreds of patent and trademark filings before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. She has filed numerous trademark applications, recorded assignments, and maintained registrations.

Ms. White has assisted the Wilmington office in various bankruptcy matters, including general creditor representation, representation of official committees of unsecured creditors, and in bankruptcy litigation, including but not limited to preference, fraudulent conveyance and turnover actions.

Ms. White earned her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Political Science from the University of Delaware and her Juris Doctorate from Widener University School of Law. While attending the University of Delaware, she received certificates of distinction as a woman of promise and as a black student of promise. She also interned for The Honorable Richard S. Gebelein during a serial murder trial and was on the Dean's Honor List. During law school, she received The Honorable Helen S. Balick Award for excellence in the study of bankruptcy and earned a certificate of achievement for her work in the bankruptcy clinic assisting low-income persons living in Delaware County Pennsylvania who have debt collection and debt harassment issues.

Ms. White is admitted to the Bars of the State of New Jersey and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and is a member of the American Bar Association.
