ELLIOTT GREENLEAF REPRESENTS DOZENS OF COMMUNITIES SEEKING TO IMPROVE STORM WATER PROGRAMS IN PENNSYLVANIA

Elliott Greenleaf has been retained by the Montgomery County Consortium of Communities to serve as Special Counsel supporting its advocacy for effective, yet efficient and realistic, improvements to the dramatically upgraded MS4 storm water permit program proposed by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) in 2009. The proposed Municipal Separate Stormwater Sewer Permit program (MS4) represents a very significant new unfunded mandate upon local government, and Elliott Greenleaf is protecting the interests of dozens of communities to address this mandate upon local governments. As shown in the attached article, Elliott Greenleaf's Douglas R. Blazey is leading this effort. Doug has previously served as Chief Counsel to the DEP and as Regional Counsel for U.S. EPA in Region II.
